Handpainted Pottery
The pieces shown in these handpainted pages are the last of 30 years of production, a collection of whimsical clay forms incorporating textures of indefinite origins, stained to enhance patterns and the overall grace of each piece. All objects are functional in intent, produced from a Cone 6 porcelaineous white stoneware and fired in a gas kiln with a slight reduction atmosphere. I am transitioning my kiln to a soda firing atmosphere so these handpainted surfaces are a thing of the past. Get one while they are still listed here
